如果你是说 不知道他的功课进展的怎么样了,那就要去掉well
但是你要是说 不知道他功课进展的怎么这么好的,问的是方式,那为了避免歧义我认为可以在he后面加一个can ,how he can get along

lessons 去掉s,I do not know how he gets along well with his lesson.
我看看也没错，如果实在要改，就把gets改成got
well 改为good？
how “怎样”，后面的 well 回答了“怎样”，所以有错误。改正的办法之一是去掉 well。
