动词不定式..is to 不是个句式 就是什么什么is什么 这个什么当然是名词形式 里面用了动词就要用动名词或动词不定式
没句式. 承上启下
个人意见,好象什么都不是,只是动词不定式做主语吧

是一种句式

to 是跟的前面the way 或者是为了平衡句子。
我觉得is to 不能算是个句式，is 是谓语动词，后面跟的是个宾语从句
to hold on是宾语从句的动名词，应该是这样。
be to do一般是表示按计划进行或征求对方意见
e.g.I am to go to school tomorrow.
Are we to go on with this work?
be to do 是对主语（也就是前面的LOVE）进行说明
表示以一种......方式
